Internal Complaint Committee
At Marwari College, Ranchi, we are deeply committed to providing a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination, gender-based violence, or sexual harassment on our campus.
In compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations, the college has constituted a dedicated Internal Complaint Committee (ICC).
- Prevention & Sensitization: To actively promote gender equality and create awareness through workshops, seminars, and gender sensitization programs.
- Confidential Redressal: To provide a secure, unbiased, and highly confidential mechanism for reporting and resolving complaints related to sexual harassment.
- Support & Guidance: To ensure that any individual facing harassment receives immediate administrative, psychological, and legal guidance if required.
Any student or staff member who feels they have been subjected to harassment, or who has witnessed such an incident, can reach out to the ICC without fear of retaliation or victimization.
- Complaints can be submitted in writing directly to the Presiding Officer or any committee member.
- Alternatively, complaints can be emailed to the official ICC email desk.
- Absolute confidentiality of the complainant's identity is guaranteed throughout and after the inquiry process.
