At Marwari College, Ranchi, we believe that financial constraints should never be a barrier to higher education. In alignment with our core mission of academic excellence and empowerment, we actively facilitate state government scholarship programs to support our students from diverse social backgrounds.
The e-Kalyan portal is a flagship initiative operated by the Welfare Department Government of Jharkhand, designed to support the educational aspirations of students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Backward Classes.
This digital initiative is a major step toward speedy, transparent, and accountable governance. By creating a unified digital infrastructure, e-Kalyan seamlessly links welfare departments, the state treasury, educational databases, our college administration, and the banking network. This integrated system ensures a smooth, end-to-end process for application verification, fund sanctioning, and the direct disbursement of scholarship funds.
To ensure your scholarship application is processed without delays or rejections, please carefully review the following mandatory guidelines:
- Aadhaar-Linked Banking: You must provide a bank account number that is directly linked to your Aadhaar card.
- Verify Your Status: Before beginning your application, students are strongly advised to check with their bank to confirm the active status of their Aadhaar-bank account linkage.
- No Re-registration for Renewals: If you are an already registered student who applied in a previous academic session, do not register again. Simply log into the e-Kalyan portal using your existing username and password to apply for your current term.
- Mandatory Digital Documents: You must upload valid, online-issued certificates to the portal. Hand-written or offline certificates may not be accepted. Ensure you have digital copies of your:
- (1) Caste Certificate
- (2) Residential/Domicile Certificate
- (3) Income Certificate
The National Scholarships Portal (NSP) serves as a comprehensive, one-stop digital solution for students seeking financial assistance across various schemes. Initiated as a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), the platform is designed to streamline the entire scholarship lifecycle.
The NSP enables a seamless, transparent process for our students by centralizing all core services, including:
- Student application submission and receipt
- Application processing and verification
- Sanctioning of funds
- Direct disbursal of various scholarships
