Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Marwari College, Ranchi is an integral part of the institution's commitment to continuous quality enhancement and academic excellence. The IQAC was constituted in May 2004 and has since been functioning in accordance with the guidelines and quality assurance framework of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The primary objective of the IQAC is to establish a systematic, conscious, consistent and catalytic mechanism for continuous improvement in the academic and administrative performance of the College. It works towards developing and sustaining a quality culture that encompasses teaching-learning, evaluation, research, student support, governance, infrastructure and other institutional processes.

The IQAC facilitates the regular review and enhancement of institutional practices by encouraging innovative teaching-learning methods, academic development, stakeholder feedback, documentation and evidence-based quality initiatives. It also works closely with various academic and administrative departments to identify areas for improvement and support the implementation of appropriate measures.

As a quality enhancement and assurance mechanism, the IQAC promotes the participation of faculty members, students, administrative staff and other stakeholders in the continuous development of the institution. It encourages the adoption of good practices and helps ensure that quality improvement becomes an ongoing and integral part of the College's functioning.

The IQAC also plays an important role in monitoring quality-related activities, maintaining relevant documentation, preparing quality reports and supporting the accreditation and assessment processes of the institution. Through systematic planning, review and follow-up, the Cell strives to strengthen the academic and administrative environment of Marwari College, Ranchi.
